Many businesses think that marketing only means advertising. But building loyalty with your customers also requires creating marketing content that is helpful, relevant, and engaging.

This course helps entrepreneurs at any stage define what content will build that loyalty with their customers. By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Understand the role of non-promotional content in a marketing strategy
  • Apply a framework for developing and assessing your own marketing content
  • Define the language your customers use to describe their needs and desires
  • Identify ideas for marketing content that will work for your business

This course is the second module in the NYC Department of Small Business Services’ (SBS) six-module Digital Marketing series. We encourage you to complete the first module, “Developing a Marketing Strategy,” before you take this course.
